The View of Pinckney Bend

Being above the bend in Pinckney Bend, the view of the peacefully flowing river stretches both straight ahead and also to the east.  This unique and secluded location undoubtedly has the best view in New Haven.  There is simply nothing like it between St. Louis and Jefferson City.


It is a 200' drop off the edge of the bluff to the river below. The Pinckney Bend section of the river is the deepest part of the river, at about 60' deep.  Unlike other bluff accommodations, you won't be looking down into an industrial area from here.
